LAST REVIEWED: OCTOBER 12, 2026 · APPLIES TO THE FORMATINSTANT WEBSITE
Important setup note: the current source includes a static client-side application, visual ad placeholders, a support contact page, and a local-only readiness survey. No ad network or analytics service is connected. The operator should verify the responsible legal entity, confirm that the published support address is monitored for relevant requests, and update this notice to match the final hosting, domain, and service configuration.
1. Information you enter into the tools and survey
FormatInstant’s included transformation code reads the text you enter in the input field, processes it in your browser, and displays a result in the output field. The transformation code does not submit either field to a FormatInstant application server, and the current build has no database or account system. No input history is deliberately stored by the application in local storage, cookies, or a remote service.
The optional Data Readiness Survey asks only multiple-choice questions about workflow conditions; it does not ask for the data itself. Its responses are processed in the current browser page and are not transmitted or saved by the survey code. Survey answers and tool inputs may remain visible in page memory until cleared, reloaded, or the tab is closed. Your browser or operating system may manage memory, crash reports, clipboard contents, backups, or extensions independently. Use Clear when appropriate, avoid shared devices for sensitive work, and do not submit material you are not authorized to process in your browser.
2. Technical information and hosting logs
When a browser requests a website, the web host and network providers may receive ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, requested path, time, user-agent details, and referrer data. Hosting providers commonly use access and security logs to operate and protect their infrastructure. This project code cannot verify the provider’s log fields, retention periods, access controls, or deletion schedule. The site operator must review the chosen provider’s terms and privacy documentation and accurately describe those practices here before launch.
The application does not include analytics beacons or telemetry. The deployed page should be inspected to confirm that no additional scripts, tag managers, remote fonts, monitoring agents, or plugins have been added. A privacy statement is not a substitute for inspecting the actual files and network requests.
3. Cookies, storage, and similar technologies
The current FormatInstant application code does not set cookies, use local storage, or create an account identifier. Browser features, operating systems, and the selected hosting provider may use their own technologies. The application requests clipboard access only when you explicitly choose Copy; browser permission behavior controls whether that action succeeds. Clipboard contents are not read by the application.
Google advertising and DART cookies: no Google AdSense script or other advertising network is active in this build, and FormatInstant does not currently set a DART cookie. If the operator later enables Google advertising, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, or personalize ads based on visits to this or other websites, subject to the vendors’ current policies and the user’s settings. The operator must then publish the required vendor-specific disclosures, obtain consent where applicable, and provide legally required choices before serving ads. Google’s current controls and information are available through Google Ads Settings and its advertising privacy documentation; availability and names of controls may change.
There is no active programmatic advertising network, real-time bidding request, advertising pixel, or third-party ad cookie in the files created for this build. Reserved ad boxes are visual placeholders only. Their presence does not mean an ad provider is connected.
4. Data retention and deletion
FormatInstant’s application code does not retain the contents transformed in the tool, so there are no application input records for the operator to retrieve or delete from a FormatInstant database in this build. This should not be interpreted as a promise of zero retention across all infrastructure. Hosting, DNS, security, and network providers may maintain technical logs under their own policies. The operator must verify the actual provider configuration before making any claim about those logs, their retention duration, or deletion.
5. Children and sensitive information
The tools are general-purpose utilities and are not designed as a service for children. Do not paste passwords, access tokens, payment card details, health records, government identifiers, confidential business data, or other sensitive material unless you have authority to do so and your device and environment are approved. Local processing reduces transmission by this application but does not remove risks from device monitoring, compromised browsers, malicious extensions, or hosting configuration changes.
6. General privacy-law information
Privacy obligations depend on the operator, the user, the information, and the circumstances of processing. In the United States, state privacy laws and sector-specific rules may apply. In the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable electronic communications rules may be relevant. In India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, applicable rules, and other sectoral requirements may be relevant. The fact that this interface performs text transformations locally does not establish compliance with any law or certification.
People using the tool remain responsible for determining whether they have a lawful basis or other authority to handle data and whether their organization permits the workflow. The website operator should obtain qualified advice about controller or processor roles, notices, rights requests, security measures, international transfers, and any consent requirements applicable to the real service.
7. Third-party links and future changes
This policy may link to third-party information. Those websites are controlled by their respective operators and follow their own terms. If third-party services are added to FormatInstant, their identity, purpose, data access, and relevant choices should be disclosed here before activation. The operator should date and publish material changes and, where required, provide notice or obtain consent.
8. Contact and requests
The Contact page lists chaitanyahgt09@gmail.com for engineering questions and feature requests. The operator should confirm that this inbox is monitored and suitable for privacy-related requests, and publish the responsible legal entity’s full identity and any required rights-request process before launch. Do not treat a general support mailbox as a formal rights channel unless the operator has established that process.
9. Policy limits
This page is general information, not legal advice. It reflects the source files as prepared, not a guarantee about an eventual deployment, browser, provider, or third-party change. The operator should review it whenever infrastructure or scripts change and consult qualified counsel about jurisdiction-specific obligations.
